Next Screencast Demo

I am working on a screen cast that will demonstrate the ease that it is to use the app, Transmit available at Panic.com. The newest version is 3.7 and hope to have the screencast available soon. What I am hoping to hear from some of your guys are comments and critiques on these and to let me know if they are of use and can use them. In some cases these are OS specific and if you only use Windows or only use Mac, sometimes it may not apply. I do try to use cross platform whenever possible. 

However, I believe Transmit at this time is just a mac app. Sorry, Windows guys..

Hello to anyone whom may have read this last post more than a week ago. Work and personal obligations have kept me from frequent updates, but I have found that the app Transmit, while an excellent application, is one that is not for regular consumption for the average computer user. Or so I think. I could be wrong. Anyhow, I am going to be addressing other software at a later date, but in the meantime, if anyone is interested in Transmit, you can go to Panic.com/transmit to see the app and details.

I am an avid Dropbox user, and stumbled on some great tips tonight, Enjoy.

Dropbox, work, and travel

There is a software tool out there that some of you may be well aware of now, and is very indispensable if you travel, or ever work between more than one computer. Dropbox is a great little tool. After signing up, you get 2 gigs of free online storage, and can pay for more if you need to. I paid for the 50 gig package (about $4 and change a month) and it is very very worth every penny.

You get a file downloaded to your computer that becomes a hub of sorts for all files you want to travel with and or see, through your online account, or with other computers you may have it hooked up with. It is, in a word a necessary tool and frankly a killer app in my opinion. See the lame demo I have made for it... Does not do it justice, but you get the idea.
