Internet Speeds

It is amazing to think how fast the internet and it's billions of pages are delivered to us everyday. There is an easy way to test your speeds on line at Speedtest.net, you can see my speeds here, and test your own. If you think your internet is running slow, or not giving you what your IP claims to, here is a way to document your actual speeds. 

My history using this tool going back to just february of 2009 has our download speeds here from 10mbp down, and 1.1 up, to more than 20.4 mbp down and 4.5 up today. Thats alot of data and bandwidth. While the cable companies are certainly making a pretty penny from us, recent competition is finally giving us more and improved services and much better speeds than ever before.
